Activities
Glossa aims to organise multidisciplinary events encompassing scholars and enthusiasts throughout Finland; we welcome historians, theologians, art historians, linguists, archeologists as well as scholars of other disciplines. The society organises lectures and seminars, as well as more informal activites, such as excursions. One of our main events is the Dies Medievales congress, organised biannually in one of the Finnish university towns, gathering a wide range of scholars and interested members of the general public. In Helsinki the society meets during university term time, normally on the second tuesday of each month, at six p.m. at the house of the Finnish Fedaration of Learned Societies (Tieteiden talo, Kirkkokatu 6).
